VIFF Shorts Forum programmer Casey Wei and her coordinator, Jaewoo Kang discuss how to find the balance between telling the story, and film as a an art form. The pair also dive into the importance of choosing titles with urgent themes, providing an opportunity for audiences to stay engaged with the topic in order to increase education, and invoke change.
